We love to eat out and try various delicacies. One good thing about Chennai is that you do not have to be extremely rich to go to a good decent hotel. One of our favorite restaurants is Mandarin. Mandarin-Chennai specializes in interesting Chinese cuisine. We have tried various options whenever we visit the place. I , guess the hotel has been there forever in the same style, with the same menu, and the same servers. The only thing that has changed there ever since I started visiting the place is the price list. But, it is again not so high that you cannot afford on the last day of the month :).<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Mandarin</span> is also one of the quietest places I have seen in Chennai. Be it a Monday, or a Sunday, be it crowded or not, there is something about the place that makes you whisper and not laugh loud. We go there for a bit of privacy, for a good Chinese cuisine, and also when we do not want to shell out a lot of money.
